sms terms
These SMS and iMessage terms (“SMS Terms”) govern the text-messaging program operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“Larry,” “we,” “us”). They apply in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. program description
Larry is an automated coaching service delivered by text message (iMessage where available, otherwise SMS/MMS). When you sign up and send the first message to Larry's number, you agree to receive recurring automated messages from Larry, including:
- replies to messages, photos, and voice memos you send;
- coaching check-ins, reminders, and follow-ups about goals you set, including proactive messages that Larry sends without you messaging first;
- daily or weekly summaries of what you logged;
- occasional service messages about your account, such as confirmation of STOP or HELP requests.
Larry does not send marketing or promotional messages as part of this program. Agreeing to these messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Consent is given on our website by entering your name and mobile number, agreeing to these SMS Terms, and then sending the first message to Larry from that number. Larry does not send the first message. Your first text confirms that you control the number and starts the program.
4. how to stop
STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT all work. STOP is processed automatically and immediately, without a person in the loop.
5. cost
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Larry itself is free to start; paid plans are described on our website and in the Terms of Service.
6. carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed.
7. eligibility
You must be 18 years or older and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. If your number changes or is reassigned, text STOP from the old number if you can, and email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
8. automated system and AI disclosure
Messages from Larry are generated by an automated system that uses artificial intelligence. Larry will tell you he is an AI if you ask. Larry is not a person, a licensed medical professional, a dietitian, or a personal trainer, and nothing he sends is medical, nutritional, or injury advice. 9. privacy
Messages you send, including photos and voice memos, are stored and used to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your mobile number. Consent records (when you opted in, from where, and when you sent STOP) are retained as required to prove compliance.
10. changes
We may update these SMS Terms. The current version is always at this address. Material changes to message frequency or program content will be announced by text before they take effect.
